Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 5, 2026

Golf Bag Poncho LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates golfbagponcho.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, place an order, or contact us, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and phone number (if provided). When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. When you create an account or subscribe to updates, we collect your email address and any details you choose to add.

Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number. The processor handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site collects basic technical data when you visit — your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies used by our website platform for site operation, security, and basic analytics.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to process and ship your orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, respond to your questions and requests, handle returns and warranty claims, improve the Site and our products, prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site, and send occasional product updates if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business: our website hosting and e-commerce platform, our payment processor, shipping carriers (to deliver your order), and email service providers (to send order and support messages). These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms and Conditions, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Golf Bag Poncho, our customers, or others.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember your preferences, keep the Site secure, and understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect parts of the Site, including checkout.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle returns, and meet tax and accounting requirements. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing noah@golfbagponcho.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including a hosted platform that encrypts data in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing any information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
